Ranking of Top MBA Colleges: Do they take MBA Admission through Management Quota or Donation?

At the time when you select the B-School it is obvious you go through the search for the list of top colleges in India or list of top 10 colleges in India or top 50 colleges in India, whatsoever! Even when you look at various top journals you may find the discrepancies with some average b-schools enlisted with top colleges at a higher rank position. This is a way to market a normal b-school among the aspirants so that they can believe as other positions are filled with correct rankings of the old reputed colleges. For example in a list of B-Schools ranking, you will find the top 10 colleges positions correctly filled with IIM(s) and some old reputed private B-Schools to make you believe that the list is correct. Along with that list just between the positions of rank 20 to rank 50 you will find 4-5 average colleges got the place above the reputed institutes. When you check with that B-Schools you will find that you are eligible for short listing (obviously no standards no competition) and you get lured to them applying there. Beware of such fake rankings!

Anyways if you want to get correct information easily take any of such lists and compare the colleges by visiting their official websites or college premises with followings basic parameters:

1)     their actual hardness to get admission i.e. cut-off marks: the more higher cut-off, the more top level B-School

2)   the placement details with three major parameters: No. of job opportunities offered, No. of Companies arriving since last 3 years at campus, Average salary packages offered

3)   Faculty Standards and Passing Percentage

Here we provide the list of top B-Schools in India By the courtesy of careers 360 (the education hub) and their INPUT-PROCESS-OUTPUT methodology to arrive at broad parameters like diversity of students and faculty members; infrastructure; accreditation and recognition, placement statistics; programme fee; and admission test score cut-offs.

But we have changed the rank positions of many and also removed some average colleges from the original list by career 360 as discussed above to remove the discrepancies of marketing those b-schools.
