MITSOM College was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), Pune.

The principle objective of this college is to provide undergraduate education in professional courses like Business Administration, International Business and Computer Applications. All its courses are affiliated to University of Pune and approved by the Govt. of Maharashtra.

Admission Criteria – MITSOM
For BBA
  • A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course in Bachelor of Business Administration shall have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C. 10+2) from any stream with English as passing subject and has secured 40% marks at 12th Std.
  • Two years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  • Three Year Diploma Course (after S.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  • MCVC


For BBA (CA) [BCA]
In order to be eligible for admission to Bachelor of Computer Applications a candidate must have passed.
  • HSC (10+2) from any stream with English as passing Subject with minimum 40%marks in aggregate.
  • Two years Diploma in Pharmacy Course of Board of Technical Education, Conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  • Three Year Diploma Course (after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard), of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
  • MCVC
  • Every eligible candidate has to pass Common Entrance Test to be conducted by the respective Institute/College.

For BBA (IB) [BBM (IB)]
H.S.C. (10+2) with min 40% marks and English as a compulsory subject

Admission Process – MITSOM
For the Admission in Undergraduate Courses offered by MITSOM, the institute is conducting an entrance exam that is followed by an Aptitude Test and Personal Interview in most of the cities of India like Pune, Kolkata, New Delhi, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Raipur, Patna, Jaipur, Raipur and Lucknow.

How to Apply?
Entrance Examination Forms can be filled online through MITSOM College website www.mitsomcollege.com with the online payment for Rs. 500/- through Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Net Banking.

Attested Documents need to be submitted during Examination.
  1. 10th & 12th Standard Mark sheets Copies (If appeared for 10+2 Exam photo copy of Examination Admit Card / Hall Ticket).
  2. Identical colour photographs.
  3. Attested copy of Caste Certificate in case of reserved category (candidates from Maharashtra State only. Other documents viz: Validity, Non-Creamy layer certificate would be required at time of admission.).
  4. Domicile Certificate (Attested): (For Maharashtra domiciled candidates only.).
  5. Please indicate status of your domicile (Maharashtra/Out of Maharashtra) as well as choice of courses/preferences in entrance form WITHOUT FAIL.
Admit Card of online applicants will be sent on respective email address which is provided in the online application form.

Schedule of reporting for Aptitude test & Interviews will be displayed on www.mitsomcollege.com two days prior to respective Entrance Examination, after 10.00 am only.
